RETURN POLICY

1. OVERVIEW
This Return Policy applies to physical products (NFC tags and accessories) purchased from VTag.id. Digital services and subscriptions are not eligible for return.
2. RETURN ELIGIBILITY
2.1 Eligible for Return:
- Unopened, unused NFC tags in original packaging
- Defective or non-functional products
- Products damaged during shipping
- Incorrect items received
2.2 NOT Eligible for Return:
- NFC tags that have been programmed or activated
- NFC tags that have been physically damaged by the customer
- Products returned after the return window has closed
- Digital services, subscriptions, or tag configurations
- Products purchased during final sale promotions
- Custom or personalized products
3. RETURN WINDOW
- Standard returns: 14 days from delivery date
- Defective products: 30 days from delivery date
- Damaged during shipping: 7 days from delivery date (report immediately)
4. CONDITION REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for a full refund, returned items must be:
- In original, unopened packaging
- Unused and not programmed
- In resalable condition
- Including all original accessories and materials
5. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN
Step 1: Contact Us
- Email support@vtag.email
- Subject: "Return Request - [Order Number]"
- Include reason for return and photos if applicable
Step 2: Wait for Authorization
- We will review your request within 2-3 business days
- If approved, you will receive a Return Authorization (RA) number
- Do NOT ship items without an RA number
Step 3: Ship the Item
- Pack items securely in original packaging if possible
- Include the RA number on the outside of the package
- Ship to the address provided in your authorization email
Step 4: Refund Processing
- Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days of receiving the return
- You will receive email confirmation when your refund is issued
6. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
6.1 Defective or Incorrect Items
- We will provide a prepaid return shipping label
- No cost to you
6.2 Change of Mind / Unwanted Items
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
- We recommend using a trackable shipping method
- We are not responsible for items lost in return transit
6.3 Damaged During Shipping
- We will provide a prepaid return shipping label
- No cost to you
7. RESTOCKING FEE
- Returns for non-defective items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee
- Restocking fees are deducted from your refund amount
- No restocking fee for defective products or our errors
8. EXCHANGES
- We do not offer direct exchanges at this time
- To exchange an item, please return it for a refund and place a new order
- This ensures fastest processing
9. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
If you receive a damaged or defective product:
1. Do not attempt to use or program the product
2. Take photos of the packaging and product
3. Contact us within 7 days (damaged) or 30 days (defective)
4. We will provide a prepaid return label
5. Upon receipt, we will issue a full refund or send a replacement
10. INCORRECT ORDERS
If you receive the wrong item:
1. Do not open or use the incorrect item
2. Contact us immediately at [Insert Email Address]
3. We will provide a prepaid return label
4. We will ship the correct item as soon as possible
11. REFUND METHOD
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- If original payment method is unavailable, we will contact you for alternatives
- Please allow 5-10 business days for processing
- Bank processing times may add additional days
12. LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven't received your refund after 10 business days:
1. Check your bank account or PayPal again
2. Contact your bank - there may be processing time
3. Contact PayPal if applicable
4. If still missing, contact us at [Insert Email Address]
13. GIFT RETURNS
- Items purchased as gifts can be returned by the recipient
- Refunds will be issued to the original purchaser's payment method
- Or, a store credit may be issued to the recipient upon request
14. BULK ORDERS
- Bulk orders (10+ items) may have different return terms
- Contact us before purchasing bulk orders to confirm return policy
- Partial returns of bulk orders may not be accepted
15. FINAL SALE ITEMS
- Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance" are not eligible for return
- All sales final on promotional or discounted items unless defective
