Directory Listing Terms
These terms apply to you if you add your business to the VTag.ID Business Directory. They are in addition to the VTag.ID Terms & Conditions.
Who can list
You may list a business if you own it or are authorised to act for it. One listing per business. You must not list a business you do not represent, and you must not create listings designed to look like a competitor.
What you are responsible for
You are responsible for everything in your listing: your business name, description, category, location, opening hours, phone number, logo, images, licence numbers and any other credential you publish. It must be accurate, kept up to date, and yours to publish. You must hold every licence, registration, bond and insurance you refer to, and you must stop showing a credential as soon as it lapses.
You must not publish anything unlawful, misleading, offensive, or that infringes somebody else's trade mark, copyright or privacy. You must not publish another business's photographs, logo, reviews or ratings as if they were yours.
Free and paid listings
A basic listing is free and shows your business name, category, town and a link to your VTag.ID page. A paid plan adds a logo, a description, opening hours, credentials, a call button and placement above free listings, marked Featured.
Paid placement buys position and presentation. It does not buy customers, enquiries, calls or work, and we do not promise any level of traffic, ranking, visibility or result. If your subscription ends, your listing stays in the directory as a free listing rather than disappearing.
Licence you give us
By listing, you give VTag.ID permission to display and distribute your listing content, including your business name, logo and images, for the purpose of operating and promoting the directory. You keep ownership of everything you upload. This permission ends when your listing is removed, except for copies already held in search engine caches and backups, which we cannot reach.
Removing a listing
You can remove your listing at any time from the Manage panel of your tag. Search engines may keep showing it for a while afterwards, which is outside our control.
We may edit, suspend or remove any listing at any time, with or without notice, including listings we believe are inaccurate, misleading, abusive, impersonating somebody, or in breach of these terms.
No agency
VTag.ID is not your agent, broker or representative, and we are not a party to any contract between you and a customer who finds you here. Nothing in the directory creates a partnership or employment relationship.
Complaints about your listing
If somebody tells us your listing is inaccurate, infringes their rights or impersonates them, we may ask you for evidence and may suspend the listing while we look into it.
Changes
We may change these terms. If we make a significant change we will say so on this page. Continuing to keep your listing published means you accept the current version.
